How much do you love someone? Is there a way to measure your love, how much is given and taken? Can you really love someone by giving all you got and expect little or nothing in return? How much do you think is reasonable and if there is a limit, how do you know you've reached it? Or do we simply ignore the fact that love is a one sided affair that no one should bother about the quantity on board.
There are various definitions of love to each and everyone of us. Of course, there are differences for families, spouses, relatives, and friends. But they all share similarities too : it requires sharing, respect, forgiving, unselfishness, caring and enjoyment.
By giving away your love, there is no surety of regaining in return, but it is always the sense of selfless and appreciation that encourages such notion. Never load yourself with towering expectations. We are all different in a way or another. Love someone your way, but it is always good to learn about others and cope with changes which would eventually benefits both.
Always listen and prepare only neutral explanations and never retaliate. It is not about how much is given or recieved, it is about how much you understand and learn. This is sharing. This is LOVE.
